Rockwell International's acquisition of Avnet strengthens its cyber security expertise Jan 06, 2021

(January 10,2020, Beijing, China)-Rockwell International announced today that it has signed an agreement to acquire privately held company AVNET Data Security. Based in Israel, the company is a network security service provider with more than 20 years of experience. AVNET is committed to providing one-stop IT / Ot Network Services and solutions covering assessment, penetration testing, network and security solutions, training, and integrated IT / Ot hosting services. "with Avnet's excellence in service delivery, training, R & D and hosting services, we can reach more customers worldwide, accelerate the development and expansion of the Rockwell International and more readily respond to rapidly changing market conditions, " said Frank Kulaszewicz, senior vice president of Rockwell International, one of the fastest-growing segments of the Rockwell International business. With the rapid development of manufacturing industry, the traditional physical safety strategy can not meet the requirement of protecting production and operation. Rockwell International offers a comprehensive set of services and solutions to help customers develop, maintain, and refine forward looking network security policies. AVNET's deep expertise and practical experience will help Rockwell International achieve its strategic goals of double digit growth in information solutions and interconnectivity services through the enhancement of our ITOT network expertise globally.
